Tenino joined the Timberland system in 1972 and opened the library in the
Tenino City Hall, a former stone quarry headquarters built in 1922. In
1987 the library moved into a remodeled bank building. An additional 1,120
square feet was added during a remodel in 1996.
The Tenino Library has:
- Books, videotapes, DVDs, CDs, audio cassettes, newspapers
and magazines for readers and library users of all ages.

Programs and events for children and adults.
- Computers with access to the Internet, Microsoft Office,
and online reference databases. One-hour computer sessions can be
reserved using the online reservation system or by calling the library.
- Free wireless Internet access in the library during regular open hours.

| Meet for a book chat, games, snacks and a craft. Register at the library a week before the program and pick up the featured book, "How to Eat Fried Worms" by Thomas Rockwell. Even fried, with ketchup, mustard and horseradish sauce, or baked, as Alsatian Smothered Worm with onions and sour cream, 15 nightcrawlers are still a lot of worms to eat. Will Billy eat the worms and win the bet? |
