Internet Filter Error Reports

Timberland uses Websense filtering software to prevent sexually explicit web sites from being displayed on public Internet computers (1) if the computer is a designated "filtered" computer or (2) if a patron is using a "filtered" login.

The Websense filtering database of "blocked" web sites is updated nightly.  However, because millions of web pages are added and changed on the Internet every day, there is no way that any filtering software can identify and block all sexually explicit web sites.  It is also possible for the filtering software to mistakenly block a web site that does not contain sexually explicit materials.

Please use these forms to report errors with the Internet filter:

Request to Block a Web Site
(site is sexually explicit and should be blocked by the filter)

Request to Un-Block a Web Site
(site is not sexually explicit and should not be blocked by the filter)
